Moscow – Saint-Petersburg – “The Golden Ring”
Day 1
Begin your discovery of the capital city of Russia from the excursion along the Golden Mile that is one of 10 most expensive streets of the world. Every building there is unique as they were built by best Russian architects. Take in some of the iconic sights such as Red Square with St Basil's cathedral and the famous red brick walls of the Kremlin, Lenin mausoleum, the church of Our Lady of Kazan. See the monument to Minin and Pozharsky and the Place of Skulls, the building of the biggest Russian supermarket and learn its history.
Day 2
The breakfast in the hotel. The visit to St Basil's cathedral or the Cathedral of the Protection of Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat. It was built in 1555-1561 in the Red square. The cathedral is considered to be the symbol of Moscow and Russia. The excursion into the Kremlin and into the cathedral. The Kremlin is situated in the centre of Moscow. Its powerful walls and towers, churches with golden domes and the palaces are situated on the Moscow river and represent incredibly beautiful picture. Today in the Kremlin there is the residence of Russian president. The Kremlin ensemble has been declared by the UNESCO. Discover the huge Tsar's Cannon and Bell and visit one of the magnificent cathedrals housed within Cathedral Square.
Day 3
Breakfast in the hotel. Shopping in Moscow. In evening leaving for Saint-Petersburg.
Day 4
Breakfast in the hotel. Arrival in Saint-Petersburg. The excursion program “A walk in Petersburg”. The excursion to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood. A walk to the square of the arts, the Field of Mars, Michael gardens.
Day 5
Breakfast in the hotel. City tour “the city of Peter the Great”, the story of foundation and the building of the city on the Neva and Peter I ideas. The visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress. The trip to Petergof including the visit of the Minor Palace and the Low garden.
Day 6
Breakfast in the hotel. The excursion to the Hermitage and to the Saint Isaac's Cathedral. Leaving for Yaroslavl.
Day 7
Breakfast.
The excursion “Along the lime-trees boulevards” including the visit to the monastery of Our Savior and the Transfiguration. An excursion to the house of the Yaroslavl governors that is now an art museum. A fine lime tree park and a rich collection of works of the painters of the 18-19 century included K. Korovin and B. Kustodiev are situated there. The excursion to the museum “Music and Time” (the first private museum in Russia).
Day 8
Breakfast. Leaving for Kostroma. The excursion “Kostroma is mon amour”: the Kremlin, the Susanin square, the Milk mount, the Ostrovsky theatre, Upper and Down Debrya, the Resurrection cathedral, the Big Kostroma manufacture, the restaurant “Chainy” et cetera.
Lunch.
The Ipatiev Monastery of Saint Trinity, (the cathedral and the palace of the Romanovs).
Day 9
Breakfast.
Leaving to Rostov the Great.
The excursion “The capital of Great fields”: the lake Nero, the Kekin’s gymnasium, the monasteries of saint Yaakov and the Varnitsi that is the birthplace of Sergey Of Rodanezh. The excursion into the Kremlin.
Lunch in one of Rostov cafes.
Day 10
Breakfast.
The excursion “The puzzles and the tragedies of Russian history” including the visit to the Uglich Kremlin. The church of Saint Dimity on the Spilled blood, the palace of the princes of the 15 century. The monastery of Resurrection in Luzhniki. The nunnery of Saint Alexei in the Divnaya mount. The museum of everyday day life or the museum of Russian vodka.
Leaving to Myshkin, a city-tour. The House of the crafts, the museum of mice. Leaving for Martynovo that is the capital of the katsars. Folklore program. Return to Moscow.
Day 11
Transfer to Moscow. Flight back.
